Remote Print™ creates a delivery mechanism for centralized distribution of documents to remote locations. Files are compressed, copied and uncompressed while preserving format integrity in printed copy from the remote desktop or print queue.

Working with the loan processing business unit, Remote Print™ was envisioned to include the following features:

Ø Dedicated desktop button activates the process	Ø Document retains appearance and format integrity
Ø Document routed to print queue for capture, compression and copy	Ø Document printed at pre-selected printer
Ø Active search for compressed files on server and/or workstations at the remote location	Ø Designation of remote locations regardless of topology and network protocols utilized

Technologies Utilized

Seamless interface regardless of topology and network protocols allows for the designation of remote locations. The system can take advantage of any combination of protocol solutions, providing the flexibility of more than one delivery mechanism available. Infrastructures and operating systems accommodated include:

Remote Print™ is compatible with all software applications utilizing standard printer API’s. With full printer integration, remote sites can run any PCL-5 compatible printers.
